SWARMLIGHT

The swarm flies in on the beat, forms up, and dances. Then it dives.

**SWARMLIGHT** is an arcade shooter in the Galaga tradition, built so the whole thing fits in one file: every sprite, light, song and sound is made in code.

 - **They take ships.** Lanterns hunt with a beam of light. If one catches you, it carries your ship up into the swarm, and that costs a life. Shoot the captor as it dives and your ship comes back to fly beside you. Each rescue adds a ship, up to three: lose two ships and win both back for a triple.

 - **The swarm dances to the music.** Every entry, dance and dive lands on the beat, and every stage has its own song and its own sky. Shots fired as the beat lands fly gold and gold kills score double: a bonus, never a rule. Shoot as fast as you like. Catch a CRESCENDO capsule and every shot is gold.

 - **8 stages**, two challenge stages and a boss, the Lamplighter. Then **Da Capo**, the endless second loop: faster, mirrored, divers shot far away fire back, a Harvester steals ships, and a second boss waits, the Carillon.

 - **Modes:** the Daily Swarm (the same run for everyone, every day, shared as a spoiler-free card), Practice, Boss Rush and 5-Minute Attack.

 - **Heat:** beat the Lamplighter to unlock harder runs, each with its own best score. Win at higher heat to earn new ship colours. Keyboard, mouse, gamepad or touch. Plays in any modern browser, desktop or phone.

Pause > BEAT SYNC tunes the gold-shot timing to your speakers or headphones (useful with Bluetooth audio).
